This month’s SEO HERO updates focused on helping Shopify merchants generate better alt text with stronger context, trust SEO Health results more, and manage large image catalogs with less waiting and confusion.
Smarter AI context with Google Search Console keywords
SEO HERO now includes a Google Search Console integration area in Settings, making it easier to connect search data and use eligible ranking keywords as context when generating alt text.

Fresher scan results without blocking the dashboard
The dashboard and Refresh Results workflow have been improved so merchants can see saved results quickly while scans run in the background. Manual refreshes now request a genuinely new Shopify bulk query instead of reusing retained operation IDs that could show stale data.

SEO Health now refreshes more reliably after bulk scans, better reconciles missing-alt-text counts with store catalog totals, and passes clearer keyword constraints into AI Fix workflows.
Why it matters: Merchants get a clearer before-and-after view, so it is easier to confirm that SEO issues were actually improved instead of seeing the same problem return.
Cleaner bulk actions and a new Date Added filter on Images
The Images screen now has a Date Added filter and simplified bulk selection actions. Full selection scope is also preserved more reliably when working across larger result sets.
Why it matters: It is faster to find recent product images, select the right group, and generate or manage alt text without accidentally narrowing the job.
Manual generations are easier to track in Task History
Manual or selected alt-text generations started from the Image Alt Texts screen now appear in Activity / Task History, similar to dashboard-started generation jobs.
Why it matters: Merchants can confirm that a job started, monitor progress, and distinguish completed work from a missing or failed bulk generation.

- Uninstall and reinstall lifecycle cleanup was made more durable to prevent stale store states.
