SEO HERO AI Audit Tool
Product Update September 2026

A clearer way to improve your store’s SEO

This month’s SEO HERO improvements make it easier to choose what to fix, turn search insights into blog drafts, and understand AI credit use before you take action.

What’s new

Start with the SEO checks that matter to you

The Basic Optimize experience brings essential checks into a simpler workflow, while Expert mode remains available when you want more detail. You can also set primary and secondary keywords in Basic mode, so your fixes reflect the searches you’re targeting.

For example, a skincare store can work on a product page using “vitamin C serum” as its primary keyword and “brightening face serum” as a supporting keyword—without starting in the more detailed Expert view.

See what an SEO fix means before you make it

New visual fix examples make keyword guidance easier to understand at a glance. Instead of interpreting an SEO check on your own, you can see an example of the kind of change it calls for.

If a homeware store is updating a collection page for “linen bedding,” a clear example can help its team understand how to work that phrase into relevant copy.

Move from a blog idea to a draft with less back-and-forth

The redesigned Blog Builder makes each step easier to scan: find ideas with clearer keyword and opportunity information, refine a brief alongside available Search Console context, review generation choices and credit costs, and see created posts and upcoming Auto-Pilot activity in a cleaner history.

A pet-supply store planning an article about puppy training can compare ideas, refine its target keywords, and review the brief before creating a Shopify draft.

Know the credit cost before a manual AI action

Manual AI actions now include a credit-use confirmation, giving you a chance to review the cost before proceeding. Clearer credit guidance in Optimize also helps explain when an AI-powered fix requires credits.

For a fashion merchant preparing updates across several product pages, that means fewer surprises when deciding which AI fixes to run.
