Bulk Update allows you to process multiple product images simultaneously, saving you time and effort when managing your product catalog. This feature is especially useful for stores with large inventories or when you need to update multiple products at once.

Bulk Update Options
AI Alt Text Generator provides three specific ways to bulk update your product images:
Update Images Without Alt Text
Process all product images that currently don’t have any alt text. This is the most efficient way to start optimizing your catalog.
Best for:
- New stores with unoptimized images
- Stores with many missing alt texts
- Initial optimization of your catalog
All Store Product Images
Process all product images regardless of whether they already have alt text. This option requires enabling the “Overwrite Alt Text” setting.
Important Note:
- This will overwrite existing alt text
- Use with caution if you have manually written alt text
- Best for complete catalog refresh
Update Unprocessed Images
Process only the images that haven’t been processed by AI Alt Text Generator before. This helps you keep track of which images have been optimized.
Best for:
- Regular maintenance of your catalog
- Tracking which images have been processed
- Ensuring all new images get alt text
How to Perform a Bulk Update
- Navigate to the Bulk Update section in your dashboard
- Select one of the three update options based on your needs
- If choosing “Update All Product Images”, enable the “Overwrite Alt Text” option
- Review the number of products that will be updated
- Click “Start Bulk Update” and confirm
- Monitor the progress in the dashboard
